In today's lesson, we're going to talk all about "hello" and "goodbye". | في درسِ اليومِ، نحن سَنَتكلّمُ كلّ شيء عن "مرحباً" و"مع السّلامة". |

When we first meet someone … | عندما نُقابلُ شخص ما أولاً … |
Whether it is a person we know or someone we are meeting for the first time. | سواء هوشخص نَعْرفُ أَو شخص ما نحن نَجتمعُ للمرة الأولى. |
We will normally use a simple sentence as a way of greeting them. | نحن سَنَستعملُ عادةجملة بسيطة كطريق تحيتهم. |

A greeting is a friendly way of opening a conversation, or as a way of letting the other person know that we have seen them. | أي تحيةوديةطريق إفتتاحمحادثة، أَو كطريق إعْلام الشخص الآخر الذي رَأينَاهم. |
There are many ways to say hello. | هناك عدّة أشكال للقَول مرحباً. |

If you are meeting someone for the first time | إذا أنت تُقابلُ شخص ما للمرة الأولى |

I am pleased to meet you. | |
It is a pleasure to meet you. | |
These sentences are often used after the other person has been introduced to you. | هذه الجُمَلِ تَستعملُ في أغلب الأحيان بعد الشخصِ الآخرِ قُدّمَ إليك. |
If you are meeting someone you have not seen | إذا أنت تُقابلُ شخص ما الذي أنت مَا رَأيتَ |
Or heard from a long time, | |
Then you can show real surprise and shock. | ثمّ أنت يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تُشوّفَ مفاجأةَ وصدمةَ حقيقيةَ. |

We sometimes use the word "Hello" as a way of showing surprise or as or as a way of expressing a sudden in tersest in something. | نَستعملُ الكلمةَ أحياناً "مرحباً" كطريق لعرض المفاجأةِ أَو كأَو كطريق إظْهارمفاجئ في أكثر إقتضاباً في الشيءِ. |
Hello what is going on here? | |
Hello I did not know he had a girlfriend? | مرحباً أنا مَا عَرفَ هو كَانَ عِنْدَهُصديقة؟ |

Here in the UK, people will often greet each other | هنا في المملكة المتحدةِ، ناس سَيُحيّونَ في أغلب الأحيان بعضهم البعض |
By talking about the weather. | |
Hello is not it a love day? | مرحباً ألَيسَ هويوم حبِّ؟ |
Hello. What about this terrible weather? | مرحباً. ماذا عن هذا الطقسِ الفظيعِ؟ |
Hello, did you hear the storm last night? | مرحباً، هَلْ سَمعتَ العاصفةَ ليلة أمس؟ |
In many countries people will ask about the family. | في العديد مِنْ ناسِ البلدانِ سَيَسْألونَ عن العائلةِ. |

Hello, how is your wife doing? | مرحباً، كيف زوجتكَ تَعْملُ؟ |

In china, people will often greet each other | في الخزفياتِ، ناس سَيُحيّونَ في أغلب الأحيان بعضهم البعض |
By asking if they have eaten their lunch or dinner, | بالسُؤال إذا أَكلوا غدائَهم أَو عشائَهم، |
Or ask them where they are going. | أَو يَسْألُهم أين هم يَذْهبونَ. |
The word "hello" can also be used informally | الكلمة "مرحباً" يُمْكِنُ أيضاً أَنْ تُستَعملَ بشكل غير رسمي |
As a way of expressing sarcasm of annoyance. | كطريق إظْهار تهكّمِ الإزعاجِ. |
"hello" did you understand what I said? | "مرحباً" هَلْ فَهمتَ ما قُلتُ؟ |
Hello was that too difficult for you to read? | مرحباً هَلْ ذلك الصعبِ جداً لَك للقِراءة؟ |
Hello, did you see me waving at you? | مرحباً، هَلْ رَأيتَ بأنّ لوّحتُ فيك؟ |
Hello do you not recognise me? | مرحباً هَلْ أنت لا تَعترفُ بي؟ |
Hello. What time do you call this? | مرحباً. أَيّ وقت تَتّصلُ هذا؟ |

This expression is mostly used in certain part of the UK. | هذا التعبيرِ يُستَعملُ في الغالب في الجزءِ المُتَأَكِّدِ مِنْ المملكة المتحدةِ. |
It is friendly, fun way to say goodbye. | هو ودّيُ، طريق مرحِ للقَول مع السّلامة. |
